- Hold a cake sale, tea party, or work lunch- get together and raise money for a good cause!
- Raise money at a gig, open mic, or music event.
- Set yourself a challenge! You could run your first 5 or 10k, or do a squat or burpee challenge.
In 2022, Fremington Medical Centre held an awareness raising and fundraising day for Barnstaple LGBTQ+ Pride. They followed this up in 2023 and held a staff bake off and Pride Trivia Quiz (the staff came in first place- WELL DONE!). Not only do they have fun while they fundraise, they promote meaningful conversations and learning along the way.
The money they have raised has supported Barnstaple LGBTQ+ Pride events that challenge stigma and discrimination, promoting celebration, equity and equality to anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ in our local area.
